News this morning is Ozzy Osborne passes away at 76. I had been expecting this news sometime, even if 76 is really young now. We share the same birthday, with Ozzy being exactly 10 years older.
Expect Ozzies drug abuse expedited his end. The candle burning twice as bright lasts half as long, or some human equivalent. In recent years he had back surgeries that went terribly wrong, so hasn't been a happy camper. May have wanted to get away from the pain.Having the same birthday and being a founder of Heavy Metal made him an ongoing part of my world.

Think the first Sabbath album bought was the 1973 Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. We didn't have a record player before then. My parents had no interest in music.
